Reporting period

Post by LindsayM »

Hi
A Company was incorporated on 3 Oct 2017 and started operations on 1 May2020. What will be its first reporting period if the Company has a June year end.
Thanks
Lindsay

I also think that this is likely to be governed by local company law

if not, I would say that the first 'annual' reporting period will start on the date of the first event (e.g.contribution of capital) and end on 30 June next year

PS if you are in the UK your first accounts are long overdue! you would have received an automatic Oct year end based on incorporation month, which you changed to June, so it could only be to June 18 which would have been due by mar 19. But I guess you're not in UK!
