Is it worth having a tag assigned to each thread, that tag being the standard in question? then you can look at all previous threads on that standard (and discover perhaps the query already answered).

This forum software does not have this function (Though I haven't checked whether there are any extensions that would enable tags). To be honest, I don't see how tags can be more useful from a simple search function, but perhaps I'm missing something?
