We've purchased an elevator's for the newly contracted buildings. Can it be a part of building cost, or should be recognized as separate building.

There's no right or wrong answer to this question as IAS 16 does not prescribe the unit of account. Whichever way you’ll go, an elevator will probably have a shorter useful life than the core of the building
